Assessing the impact of secondhand smoke on children with Jyothi Marbin, MD
In this video, pediatrician Jyothi Marbin, MD discusses her project focused on the role secondhand smoke plays in the respiratory health of children, especially in low-income settings. Parents “really wanted to be able to kick that habit to make their children healthier,” Dr. Marbin said.
Dr. Marbin is an associate professor of pediatrics at UCSF School of Medicine and a Smoking Cessation Leadership Center grantee. She presented her work at the 2016 Global Tobacco Dependence Treatment Summit in May.
