SCLC grantee discusses tobacco cessation continuity-of-care models in the reentry population

In this video, Chad Morris, PhD discusses his work in tobacco cessation within prison and jail reentry programs in the United States. Smoking rates among individuals within this population are approximately three times higher than the general population – and many want to quit.

Dr. Morris is director of the Behavioral Health & Wellness Program at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus and a Smoking Cessation Leadership Center grantee. He presented his work at the 2016 Global Tobacco Dependence Treatment Summit in May.
