Global Bridges progress, impact shared in Journal of Smoking Cessation

The Global Bridges executive team penned an article published in the Journal of Smoking Cessation this week, explaining the organization as an example of how to existing gaps in tobacco control via evidence-based tobacco dependence treatment (TDT).

The article, “Developing, Managing, and Sustaining an Effective International Tobacco Dependence Treatment Partnership,” identifies ways to advance TDT through the efficient and effective use of a global health care provider network. The authors examine lessons learned, outcomes and a network analysis of the Global Bridges project, sharing insight on its role within the broader tobacco control community as it enters its sixth year.
