Richard D. Hurt, M.D., founder and director of the Mayo Clinic Nicotine Dependence Center and chair of Global Bridges, presented the webinar “Pharmacotherapy for Tobacco Dependence” on April 4.
Dr. Hurt is an internationally recognized expert on evidence-based tobacco dependence treatment, research and education. He has authored or co-authored more than 200 scientific publications, was the first witness at the historic 1998 Minnesota tobacco trial, and has been a consultant to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and many international ministries of health.
